Cefuroxime


It belongs to the group of antibiotics called cephalosporins, that act by inhibiting the cell wall synthesis. Its available in various strengths like 125 mg, 250 mg and 500 mg in tablet and syrup form. It finds its uses in multiple infections like those of throat, middle ear, lungs, UTI and skin and soft tissue. Ticks cause a disease called Lyme's disease can also be cured with it.
It is quite safe to use by the pregnant patients, still a consultation with your pharmacist is necessary.

There are basically two types of cell death. One is called as the death by neglect, while the other is called as the death by design. The former one is the death that happens less often. The underlying mechanism here is that the cell, if mistakenly, is dislodged from a particular location where its survival signals lie in its paracrine.
